"Winding country roads"

The roads around Söderåsen and in the Rönneå valley are winding through the countryside and they offer beautiful and varied nature and many attractions with high natural and cultural values. It’s like biking through a “Astrid Lindgren story” with grazing cows and horses, blackberry strands and beautiful stone walls along the way.

Cycle to the mushroom forest, the rustic farm shop or to the lake for a swim or just enjoy quietly rolling out in the beautiful countryside.

Road cycling

The road cyclists will find many nice laps with varying degrees of challenge here on Söderåsen. The hill from Ljungbyhed up the ridge is a hit if you want to challenge is long and a really steep climb..

Rent a bike

We have bikes for rent! We also have child seats, bike trailer and towed bicycle available for rent if you want to take the whole family out for an adventure. Helmets and maps with themed tours and descriptions of particularly interesting places to explore are also available .

Mountain biking

For those who prefer mountain biking, there are many good trails on Söderåsen and the surrounding forests.  In Klåveröd, on tops of the ridge, there is a much appreciated MTB course that offers many technical challenges and beautiful scenery.

In the national park there are several former forest roads which are great for MTB cycling. However, the hiking trails must NOT be used for cycling.
