Söderåsen offers fantastic opportunities for hiking in beautiful surroundings. The National Park has several well-marked trails to follow, which will take you to exciting environments: Into the rift valleys, up on plateaus, through beautiful beech forrest and to natural springs with pure water.
"Ridge to ridge - The Skåneleden trail"
The Skåneleden trail called ”ridge to ridge”passes Skäralid on its wa from Åstorp to Brösarp on Österlen. It’s a beautiful and varied hike with several good opportunities for nice stops. Both endpoints of this trail are easily reached by Skånetrafiken, just like both nearby villages Skäralid and Röstånga!

Klåveröd
Klåveröd is a beautiful and exciting area at the top of the ridge which is secret hideaway with several different unique environments. Don’t miss a visit to the tower at Skåne’s highest point ”Höjehall”, from where you can see all the way down to the Öresund Bridge and Turning Turso in Malmö on a clear day, or a visit to the fine cave“ Snuvestuan ”.
Exceptional and rare nature
The so called “Valley of chimneys ” with its rock formations and the dam in Klåveröd with its fine fishing are both also well worth a visit. The Traneröds bog also offers very unexpected nature – it is even said that this is a place where you are able to pick a cloudberry.
